Yamaha’s Inverter Series generators are the new wave in generator technology, for when you need clean, high-quality electricity in a compact, lightweight package.
Bringing along a generator was never quieter or easier, whether operating computer equipmentin the field, four-wheel-driving, camping,fishing, operating power tools or overcoming a power outage.
Inverter technology regulates the electrical output using Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) to produce clean, high-quality electricity. That means these generators deliver a "pure" sine wave with full width and amplitude so you can use them with confidence as a power source for computers, solid-state appliances with built-in computer functions or microcomputer-controlled power tools.
Smart Throttle
Yamaha is always pushing the technology envelope to make generators quieter and more efficient while continuing to deliver exceptional performance. The perfect example is Yamaha's new Smart Throttle feature that automatically adjusts the engine speed to precisely match the load. Smart Throttle allows your generator to run quieter while increasing fuel efficiency, lengthening engine life, and extending running time between refuelling.
Noise Block
Generating electricity can be a noisy proposition, or at least, it used to be. The answer is Yamaha’s Noise Block feature - our acoustically engineered sound reduction system. This technology utilises various sound-absorbing materials, moulded cases, an intake silencer, fibreglass insulation, plus newly designed mufflers and fans to provide virtually silent running, while maintaining quality performance.
Muffler, Low Oil Warning
At the heart of each generator is a strong, Yamaha engine that delivers powerful, consistent performance. Every generator also includes an approved spark arrestor, as well as a low oil warning system for long life and added peace of mind. Yamaha Inverter generators are ready, willing and able to tackle the widest variety of tasks.

A Wave Distortion Ratio of less than 2.5% is achieved.
This model can be used with equipment that requires stable frequency and voltage (as defined by an ideal “sine wave” when graphed), like products with built-in computer functions and microcomputer-controlled power tools or equipment like projectors.
